What to expect in a session

Bodywork is done over the clothes, usually on the floor. Your breath is the director of the experience, the session is adapted specifically to your body. We will begin with a conversation about you and tensions you may be holding (physical & emotional). 

We start from a seated position and you fall backwards into me so that your body can learn that it can be safely supported to help you let go.

We will slowly & gently move your body in circular patterns (some of the following gifs are on fast forward). Your body will be able to move to where it wants to go and a few points of pressure with your breath directs the healing to where it is needed.

Your muscles are like strings that pull in a single direction.

When your joints are moved in circles while pressure is applied to tense muscles, your breath can maximize its healing potential!
